Steel for trailer cage – $162.50

Cut off saw – $219

Kitchen bench top and sink – $90

Pre-wash tap – $120

Books “House Building Manual” by Allan Staines, “Roof Building Manual” by Allan Staines and Lloyd Hiddle and “Deck and Pergola Construction” by Allan Staines – $100.50

This brings the spend so far to $223 250.90

Purchased a 10×6 heavy duty tandem box trailer off eBay – $1525
RCI for the slab and house engineering $869
UCSolutions for concrete cylinder molds for Australian Standards testing samples – $103
Plumbing plan for septic application – $240

That brings our total spend to date to $222 340.40

Paramount Browns sold me a twin impeller 6.5HP fire fighting pump which we will use to (quickly at 250L per minute) fill the cartage tank from the neighbour’s rain water tanks. After the build it’ll be used as a firefighting pump and also to move water around from tank to tank on the property – $399

Garden City Plastics provided us with 2000 tags for the plant tubes so we don’t have to guess which is which – $78.26

Total spend is now at $221 128.40

Lodging paperwork with the council cost us $561.00

Plantmark supplied us with enough tree guards and stakes to support 1000 trees for $434.87

Ordered a few thousand more seeds from Austrahort Seed Merchants – $54.45

Saw the lovely girls at the local Officeworks and had them run off the required paper copies of the plans plus 2 tubes to safely transport them in – $27.40

It’s been rather quiet since our Ebay flurry 🙂 Doesn’t mean we haven’t been spending wads of cash though.

Professional fees this week came to a healthy – $1260

Yep, another one as quick as the other one.

A nice bargain with some scaffolding, $300 cheaper than retail and this one has a few added bits and pieces such as work shelves with it as well.

Miniskaff 918 never used off Ebay – $600
Sprint Auto Parts for 16 litres of cheap Castrol oil for use as concrete mold release – $48.70

Tally now stands at $218 881.00

Our Ebay spree has come to a handy little total. Price below are including freight.
Concrete vibrator, whipper snipper style – $305
Panel lifter (for plasterboard sheeting) – $236.90
4.2kVa (3kw output) sine wave generator – $755.25

There are another couple of items we’re waiting to come to a close before bidding on and I’ll update those and give a brief first impression of the items when they land here.

Steel for the proof of concept molds for the poured earth system from AJ Stock cost us $36-

MDF board and 2 bags of premix concrete for the same proof of concept set up from Stratco cost us $21.20

A 100 metre fibreglass measuring tape and skeleton caulking gun from Trade Tools Direct cost us $87.90

This brings the total spend to date to $216 935.20
